How to get to Araçatiba.

There are no cars on Ilha Grande. The trip ends by boat, and that is the part everyone remembers. Follow the steps below and confirm the schedule with the inn.

  1. Go to Santa Luzia Station

Santa Luzia Station (Estação Santa Luzia) is in downtown Angra dos Reis, by the sea, about 150 km from Rio de Janeiro on the Rio-Santos (BR-101) highway. There are paid parking lots downtown, near the pier.

  2. Get the Viva Angra voucher

The Viva Angra voucher (island entry fee) is required to board for the Angra islands: R$ 50 per person, free for children up to 12, people over 60 and people with disabilities. Get it on the official website in advance or at the kiosks on the pier.

  3. Take the speedboat to Araçatiba

The speedboat leaves Santa Luzia Station and takes about 25 minutes to Araçatiba. Schedules change by weekday and season: check with the inn when you book.

  4. Step off at the inn’s pier

Let us know in advance and the boat docks at the Convés pier. You step off with your bag right onto the deck. Check-in from 12h.

Pack light or bring a backpack

There are a few steps from the pier to the suite. A large rolling suitcase is hard work on the boat and the stairs: smaller bags are better, and the team will help you on arrival.
